wow.

Here’s a picture of the sky from the other day – it was so awesome!!!

play date

Last week Mr. A had a play date with his friend Ms. Lilly. As you will see Lilly is an excellent hugger. At one point she hugged A so hard that they both toppled over! So incredibly cute. Enjoy!

what tree?

I spend a lot of time bragging about my super smart dogs. I mean, call me biased, but I think they are obviously advanced. And to start this off with a story to prove my point, let’s talk about Kayda. Last week we went to the park. We had great day with our friends and 7 dogs roaming around and somewhere along the way I dropped my treat bag. Well, Kayda is training for search and rescue so when we were leaving I told her to “seek” and she tracked about a quarter mile, right to the treat bag. I walked past it, but she sat down beside it and wouldn’t move until I came back and picked it up. Point proven. She’s a genius. Here she is:

Then there’s Milo. Let’s remind ourselves that the kid is only 7 months old. He’s a teenager and when you’re a teenager you tend to loose your brain for a while. I mean, don’t get me wrong, he’s got tricks. He’s doing awesome in his training and he’s the sweetest puppy ever….but I’m pretty sure that will mean little when I tell you that two days ago, he ran into a tree. Oh, and fractured his elbow. At least he’s handsome.

Sometimes, you just have to take a minute and stop to count the freckles.

Oh, and if you manage to be this incredibly cute at the same time then go ahead and give yourself a huge pat on the back.

the milo pout

It’s been a long road full of droopy faces, noses buried under paws, ears pushed back, and slight whimpering. It’s been worth it though, after all, this is what it takes to really perfect the pout. At 24 weeks old….he’s almost there.

angela & josh

A few weeks ago I shot an engagement session for Angela and Josh. They are incredibly cute together, tons of fun, and most importantly – up for anything for a good photo! :) I had such a blast and am looking forward to the wedding!!!

Josh and Angela, you guys rock.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention – Angela’s mom was kind enough to come along and bring their dog as well!!! Again, so awesome.

I had the privilege of shooting a Caedmon’s Call and Derek Webb concert last weekend. It was a benefit concert for Carolina Hope Christian Adoption Agency. I love their music, and to top it off – they had great lighting :)

trees

I took a walk in the woods the other day and brought my camera along. Our poor confused trees don’t know what season it is – some still have leaves, and some are about to bud! Maybe someone should tell them that despite the 65 degree weather today, it is winter. Ah, I love South Carolina. :)
